How to drown

I could also say, how to fall off a cliff or, how to fail. The truth is too many brokers are having tremendous difficulty making ends meet. Is it possible that for some, there are external factors beyond their control preventing them from succeeding? Of course! But for the most part, those who cannot achieve their desired success suffer from a lack of vision, structure and skills.

My goal this morning is certainly not to shock or offend you but make you realize that there is a lot of power within you, a lot more than you realize. One of the very first quotes I created when I started OSE Coaching was:

"Real Estate as taught does not work and has never worked!"

You would never dare swim across a 25-kilometre lake if weren’t in shape for it, or drive carelessly on a road leading toward a collapsed bridge but many of you try to:

  • Get an appointment over the phone not knowing what to say;
  • Convince a client to sign a contract with you without being
    able to make a powerful listing presentation;
  • Negotiate an offer not knowing how to answer the most basic
    objections.

Unfortunately few are the individuals who told you on day one: “here is what you must master, here is what you must learn by heart and, here is what you must do every week”.

Let me say again, there is a lot of power within you, a lot more than you realize! Live up to your true potential as a Real Estate professional.
